HOW TO TRAVEL TO GEORGIA FROM ITALY

Italian citizens can travel to Georgia without a visa for a maximum period of one year. Citizens of other member states of the Schengen Area and third countries citizens residing in Italy and other member states of the Schengen Area with a regular stay permit can travel to Georgia from Italy for touristic reasons without a visa for a maximum period of 90 days.

Required documentation:

  • Valid passport. The passport’s expiration date must follow the date of arrival in Georgia of at least 6 months.
  • Identity card (paper or electronic), as long as the departure location is within the Schengen Area.

HOW TO TRAVEL TO ITALY FROM GEORGIA

Georgian citizens and foreign citizens residing in Georgia with a valid stay permit can travel to Italy for touristic reasons without a visa for a maximum period of 90 days.

Required documentation:

  • Valid passport. The passport’s expiration date must follow the date of arrival in the Schengen Area of at least 3 months.

In order to travel to Italy for work, Georgian citizens must request a visa at the Embassy of Italy in Tbilisi and produce the required documentation.
